2017 Sustainability Challenge

In 2017, the task was to create a sustainable outdoor space between T-Block and T8 to seat 40 people. Students considered water, solar and garden management, as well as appropriate material selection and site heritage as part of the design process. Each team produced a concept board, design sketches, a mood board, budget spreadsheet and a CAD walkthrough video of the new imagined space. Wood House successfully proposed the creation of an undercover outdoor space with extended vegetable gardens and multi-purpose seating for staff and students.
